Dating on a Budget

Times are tough, and the purse strings are being tightened around most of our extra curricular activities, but there are some that we cant give up. Some, like dating arent just extracurricular, they are important to our future happiness. So these are areas you dont want to skimp on, but what happens when you have no choice. If the economy has decided that you need to spend less on dating, here are a few tips to help you through it.

1. Ditch the traditional date. No one said that going on a date had to be a fancy dinner and a movie. Sometimes doing something else that costs less can equal more fun for you and your partner. Try something like Hot dogs and put-put, or a picnic at a winery. Both are inexpensive, different and fun. Not only will she enjoy your creativity, she will enjoy your sense of fun.
2. Be open to going Dutch. While you should never ask for a woman to pay for half of a date, if she offers take her up on it. What is sexier than a woman who is willing and able to pay her own way?
3. Dont be afraid of coupons. Yes, they show that you care how much money you spend, but in todays economy, who isnt? If you are afraid of being seen with that coupon in your hand, then do things that you can pay for in advance. Like buying tickets to an event. If you use a coupon, shell never know!
4. Dont try to outspend the people around you. Dating isnt a competition of money. It is a competition of character, and a man who can control his spending has fantastic character.

Dont worry too much about how the economy is affecting your dating a nice woman isnt going to care in the least. These days most women have their own income and arent looking for a man to take care of them, most of them just want an equal partner to share their life with.
