Studies have shown that we judge people within minutes of meeting them, which is why first impressions are so important. The fact is that people judge us on our looks. No matter what your body type, sex, or how you feel about yourself there are ways to make sure you look good enough to pass any critics examination.

Good hygiene is a must. Make sure you smell great and that your teeth are clean. If you have dental problems, it will probably be worth it to get those sorted out. It wont only make peoples impression of you better, but it will improve your self image and health. Make sure you smell attractive. You need to use deodorant, and cologne or perfume. On the topic of cologne, remember the expensive stuff is expensive for a reason. If you choose to go with an over advertised product you can buy at the grocery store, be prepared to smell like a desperate, horny teenager.

Hair removal is important. Both sexes need to keep the uni-brow in check. Women need shaping, and most men could use it as well. As far as facial hair, except for a few exceptions it is a dont for both sexes. Men need to be clean shaven if they want to appear youthful, and respectable. Women need to shave their under arms and legs and make sure they dont miss any spots! No body wants to look like a hairy ape, so have any hair issues taken care of.

Finally it comes down to how you dress. You need to dress nicely to say the least. Make sure that how you dress is appropriate to where you are going, and make sure that it all matches, black belt and black shoes etc. Your clothing should fit you, and fit your body shape. If you find that you are having a hard time with picking your clothing, dont be afraid to ask for help. Higher end stores will some times have people who are there to help you dress better. Go in and talk to them, let them help you pick out your clothes, and take their advice. It is their job.

How we look is important in the first meeting, but we need to keep it up afterwards too. You never know who you are going to run into out on the streets, and besides, when we look our best, we feel our best too.
